WELCOME to our Events Listing. It ‘evolves’, so keep dropping by.
All we do is open to all. Early booking is advised as some venues have limited space.
Do call Douglas Beeken, our Events Secretary, on 01252 313 894, for latest news and general enquiries.

WE DO:-
NATIONAL TEACHING DAYS:
These events attract nation-wide interest, comprising keynote speakers, workshops, worship & fellowship of a high calibre. Hence they are usually sited at a cathedral. Former National Days include Sheffield, Durham and Wells. Bury St Edmund’s is scheduled for Spring 2010! See below.
LOCAL TEACHING DAYS:
These are local events sponsored and supported by the Guild and run by people, often Guild Members, from the area. Recent venues include Taunton, Harlow, Whitstable and Exeter.
DAYS OF PRAYER / QUIET DAYS:
an opportunity for some space to reflect on where God is for you.
Styles and themes will vary, but there will usually be some input made to the whole group, time for individual reflection and often the chance to meet one-to-one with a prayer guide / spiritual adviser.
SEMINARS:
teaching days on aspects of pastoral, spirituality, prayer and healing concerns.
No previous knowledge or experience assumed.
Each includes:
input from a speaker,
time for discussion and
usually an act of worship,
or a time of guided prayer
or meditation.
ADVENT & SPRING RETREATS:
Opportunities to get away from ‘busy-ness’ and back in touch with God and Self.
Silence is always integral.
Venues have ample space to relax, explore and simply to ‘be’.
Holy Communion and the Laying on of Hands and / or the Anointing with Oil is often offered at these events.
